Ladybird Line turns a garden path into a number line. A ladybird sits on one number and an aphid on another, and leaf cards read things like +3, +5 or −2. Tap a leaf and the ladybird hops that many stones, one at a time. Play every leaf and land exactly on the aphid. Children never write a sum; they walk one.
